Notes About This Concert
- Prior to the concert, the audience broke into a football chant, which the band must have heard while they were backstage. Following Tie Your Mother Down, Freddie asked the audience to sing it again; they complied, and he and Roger joined in, much the audience's audible delight. The football chant reappeared just prior to the vocal improvisation, and would be repeated at subsequent concerts in Leiden.
- The full version of Friends Will Be Friends was played tonight and on the next night, the only times the band would play this arrangement. Subsequent performances would be severely abridged.
