• The night before at approximately 11:50pm EST (around 6:50am GMT), John Lennon was shot and killed by a crazed "fan" outside his apartment in New York City. The band restructured their set slightly tonight to feature Lennon's 1971 anthem for peace, Imagine. It would be performed only a few more times throughout the remainder of the year.
