"John wrote it, and that was written around a different romantic interest. It's about the Highlander as he is in the 20th century when he's just about to fall in love again, even though he said he wouldn't - har har! That's a romantic song too."

Additional Information

• One of the few Queen songs not to feature Brian on any instrument.
• A piano version, performed and sung by Freddie, was recorded and featured in the film Highlander, though this version has yet to be released on any official album.
• The early version, dating from January 1986, is slightly rearranged, lacks the orchestral arrangements, and features a guitar solo, possibly played by John.
