Queen Talks
Roger Taylor - 29 May 1989, Queen For An Hour (BBC Radio One interview with Mike Read)
"I did that one but then everyone came in, I can't remember where the idea did come from. I think it came from a book I was reading, and it just seemed to fit in with a rhythmic pattern I had in mind."
Additional Information
- Inspired by H.G. Wells' novel of the same name.
- The demo featured an additional verse in the bridge that was excised from the final album recording:
- "Was it the shyness of my soul that made me lonely just like you?
- No one noticed I was there, when I walked into the room"
