Notes About This Concert
- Brian's 39th birthday. To honor this, he played a brief snippet of '39 prior to Love Of My Life. The audience also sang "Happy Birthday" to him a few times throughout the show.
- Just as Fish (from Marillion, support band for a handful of dates this tour) had made a guest appearance during Queen's set in Mannheim, so did Brian tonight during Marillion's set, joining them on guitar for their final number, "Market Square Heroes". To return the favor, Fish once again joined Queen on additional vocals for Tutti Frutti.
- This was the last time Queen played Elton John's Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting (done, presumably, because it was a Saturday night), which had been in their set list periodically for the last 10 years or so.
