b. Soul Brother Under Pressure, 1981; see note below
c. Cool Cat Hot Space
d. People On Streets unreleased

f. Cool Cat (alternate take with David Bowie on backing vocals) unreleased
Freddie Mercury (vocals, piano, organ on a), Brian May (guitars, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, percussion, vocals), John Deacon (bass guitar; synthesizer, rhythm guitar and drum programming on c), David Bowie (vocals on a and f)
Note: it's been reported that b was recorded during sessions for The Game, though part of the lyric ("Because he's a saviour of the universe" and "When you're under pressure", referencing Flash's Theme and Under Pressure, respectively) would indicate it was recorded in 1981. It's likely that the basic track and a guide vocal may have been laid down during sessions for The Game, with the finished vocal added in the summer of 1981 when Queen needed a B-side once David Bowie insisted d not be used. Other songs from Hot Space may have been recorded during these sessions, but it's not known which were. It's safe to say that at least c was, considering the presence of David Bowie on f. d was the song that Queen were working on just before David Bowie arrived, then it became e when he started recording with them.
